The author of these Sermons was the Rector of Fenny Compton, Warwickshire; and Honorary Canon of Worcester Cathedral. All of these Sermons except the last are strictly, what the title of the volume implies, Parochial Sermons, prepared for a Village Church, in the ordinary course of the Author's ministrations. The last Sermon was preached before the University of Oxford some years prior.
